For those that have hooped in the all stars, does the back heeltab bother y'all? I really dig the colors and the way the shoe feels, materials, etc. but I was a little apprehensive about spending my hard-earned money on a pair of shoes I'll have to immediately modify by cutting the tabs off.

The tiffany uppers are beautiful, but i find myself cleaning the **** out of my kung fu 9s after every hoop session. The em on these just love dirt lol. Buuut i might make a pair that will never touch the court. Yes, theyre that nice and that picture up there is tempting.

Just ordered these the other day for non-practice hooping situations.  I hope the texture differences make up for the lack of color.  Was gonna go with metallic gold swoosh, but I already have a pair of go-to kobe 8 elites.  Might F around and get another pair.  It'll have to be black, though...

Great review. I hate hoopin in mids and highs. Just my preference, but these sound like a different experience. I have one question, though... Do the inserts fit in the kobes and vice versa?

Hey do yall think a half size would make a difference as far as kobe 8 inserts go? I wanna stick my 11.5 jordan 2012 or kobe 8 insoles into my sz 11 elites. My main concern is the effects on the structure of the shoe.

Am I crazy, or are the black/gold elites only releasing at a few footlockers in the bay area? I thought theyd be at the new HoH at Sunvalley at least.

So... I finally got an account to share my experience w the kobe 8. Theyre so comfortable that the 11.5s I bought (python, red camo, and the jordan 2012s for the inserts) dont fit me anymore due to the fact the 8s allowed me to hoop and work out for longer than any other shoe, thus I lost a lot...
