What's up everybody. Been following this thread as the challenge court stuff has been releasing, super impressed by the lifelong Nikecourt fans in here keeping the thread going. I'm working on a school project on retro sports collections and the importance they have on Brand identity. Naturally...
Just got interested in the Sk8 Hi model after seeing a pair of reissues with the zip online. Thinking of picking up a pair. To anyone who has experience with the Sk8 Hi: do they run tts? and what's your overall opinion of them? I still have yet to see them in person. Thanks
Been a while since I've been on NT or buying SBs in general, but I just got my number called at the MIA Skate Shop raffle for the AJ 1s. This might be the catalyst for me to get back into copping more SBs
Been waiting in these C. Blues but now that more pictures are coming out I'm getting a little skeptical about that toe box, it's looks pretty fat/blocky. But I guess that's how most gl3s are made nowadays. Can anyone who owns a pair attest to the toe box?
Damn those most recent picks really makes me wanna pick them up, even though I may not wear them much lol. Better than the first digis and the blacks imo
The janoski has come out in like 5 million color ways PLUS its on Nike ID. You can get that shoe in any color way you desire, so I find it hard to believe you "don't like the colors they've had". If you ONLY rock insanely crazy patterned kicks, then I guess it makes sense, but as for colors go...
He did one earlier with Concords that was apparantly a scam. People entered for $5 or whatever it was and he claimed he sent the pair to the winner, but people accused him for never sending out a pair in the first place and just profiting off the entries
Good info repped.
Suede on the '13 looks considerably worse, but that's no surprise I guess. Regardless I really hope to get the chance to get these at box price
Yeah that's another point. If you take care of your kicks they'll even last you longer. I don't get the whole "they're shoes, they're supposed to get f*cked up when you wear em" notion. Nah, if I spend 100+ on a chunk of leather and suede, I'm gonna make sure I get my money's worth.
Who doesnt want to keep their kicks clean? I know I do. Idk why that's a bad thing. It's not gonna stop me from wearing them but I'm not walking out of the house with the mentality of f*cking my sh*t up and not caring about it. I guess it just depends on how you take care of your possessions...
