Yeah. I saw that too. I got a pair of 2015s from Stock X but the fit was really different from the 2006 pair. I couldn’t keep them on my feet. Way too painful. Ended up having to resell.

Not for nothing but if I was served ice that looked blue in a restaurant, I’m getting up and leaving. The clear translucent soles were perfect. I do agree with you though that delaying that yellow life is a major plus.

Guys, guys. We’re getting a bit personal in here. Shape is not nearly as good as OG and details are off. If you like the release, buy and and rock the hell out of them. If you don’t, pass and air your complaints to JB.

I’ve never been a fan of the blue soles either. Really messes with the aesthetic of the original design.

I hope so. That has generally been the case with most of my kicks. Unless the are too small from the get, they’ll break in.

Chunky toebox, crooked NA, cheap materials, uncomfortable out of the box...all that yes. Love em anyways. Ima beat these to the ground. Btw. No iron needed. Stuff these things with hand towels, bend the sneaker the other way and mold the toebox with your hand. Not perfect but will leave them...

Just picked up 14 Lavas. Here’s a comparison pic of the 08, 2014 and 2019. It’s a close call between 2014 and 2008. I agree with what most on this thread have said. Color on 2008 is best and most vibrant. I love the overall fit and materials of 2014 though. Bump in back is noticeable in hand...
