Yup. Worst is the shape of the 90s sneakers. It makes no sense that they can’t get the mold right. Or rather, refuse to do it. Toe box almost always looks clunky and trash.
I did the half size down thing on these and it didn’t work out. TTS is the way to go. You can fit your foot length wise in a half size down but they’ll destroy your feet on the top and sides throughout the day.
I originally got a 9.5 then got a new pair in size 10 after my feet couldn’t take it...
I would try. That’s terrible. Definitely looks like a factory defect. I’ve had over 10 pairs of ZK1s and balled in multiple color ways since 2006 and nothing came out looking as horrible as that.
You, sir. Are a wizard. Yours came out spectacular. I was inspired by your success so decided to give mine a little iron attention. Ended up with a little snag in the front of the toebox, but nothing really noticeable unless you are looking for it. Other than that, it helped reshape the shoe to...
Overall shape is way better and much closer to OG. Your pair before iron was especially boxy and bulbous looking. They’re your kicks dude. Do what you think looks best.
I don’t think anyone has posted on foot pics of ironed toeboxes. Can you post a couple? I’d be interested to see how they look,
