It was pretty much all baloney from the get, and we should've all known it. Wouldn't be surprised if the mold used was same exact as the bred 4s. Mold looks the same, lack of ankle padding feels the same, extra long tongue the same, lack of QC the same(I posted the smooth leather vs tumbled...

ultimately, the first "remastered" release showed us: -slightly better materials (but still og-early 2000's leathers) -slightly better mold (but still distinctly different than 89-99' molds)  happy they retroed the columbia's. and although a slight change to legend blue, at least it wasnt...

my thoughts on the "remastered" series. from my understanding, they promised to get as close to the original mold, up the materials and improve overall craftsmanship. this shoe was the first shoe i "hunted down" back in 1999.  first eBay jordan purchase if you can believe that lol released...

hahaha so true. id personally call them the LBJ 8: v4 since they're a slight improvement > v3 but still very much resemble the 8. hope theres a leather version (doubt it tho)
