And Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!
Unless I've missed something, nothing I've seen thus far on the upcoming CNCPTS dunks indicate it's a TRD dunk.
Either way, hard pass cause CNCPTS is a joke at this point.
Maybe I just feel cocky since I've kept up with SB, but unless these turn out to have hyperstrike numbers, this should be another relatively easy drop. More than anything, just know your shops and do the legwork.
Imo laughable to say these pigeons are the "rebirth" of NSB. Honestly seems like Nike paid all these social media posters to make these seem like a big deal...
It might go against the grain of this thread, but I've actually admired that they haven't,and seemingly don't plan to do direct "re-releases" of older box dunks. I see it as a matter of integrity, and they'd rather appeal to a "skater" demographic rather than bring back old pairs which are...
If they are gonna bring back the Pigeon dunks, it could be make or break for the brand imo. Do it justice and people might come flocking back (even if temporarily). If it's a halfhearted attempt, it could be a final nail in the coffin.
I figure it's also personal preference, but I'd rather have that "mid" level of cushion on current dunks. Several teal box highs that I've worn had "thick" stuffing but it's so stiff that it became an annoyance on foot (at least in comparison with the old tool dunks)
Awaiting a new pair of Vans, finally gonna retire these.
Also Supa Highs a day early (Sizes 8-13, no 10 or 11 tho)
