I don't understand all the hype about these shoes. I worked at Footaction when these first dropped. They were hard to sell and although did not sit for very long it was a struggle. No biggie in my opinion.
I think it is very probable if the 1's do come out at the 30th Anniversary. For one Nike would make a killing, and they are not stupid they know theres a few billion people who want a pair. I think Nike sees $$$.
I think it will be great if these shoes do come out as I have always wanted a...
To some degree I believe everyone buys into "hype". I mean Jordans are popular because they are sought after. Everyone wants what they cannot get and once they get it, the chase is over. Wait this makes sense...shoes? females? its a similar cycle.
My rule of thumb regarding shoes in general is buy if YOU like it. Not because of the "hype" or potential projected value or demand for a shoe. Yes I may sound like a hypocrite because I collect Jordans as a collector's item but I also wear the shoes that I consider my loves. Hope this somehow...
Glad I was able to get my hands on a pair. Missed out on them on original release. One of the few instances where I actually appreciated the retro-ing of a shoe. Now I only have to wait a few years till all these resellers and kids destroy their pair to bring out mine. Anyone else feel the same way?
Sigh and here is the end of the Jordan XI legacy. Is it just me or has the re-retros destroyed the legacy of the Jordan XI? Can't wait till the re-re-re-retros haha LMAO
I have two pairs and the one that I have worn is very slightly yellowing. While on the other hand the ds pair I have sotred in a zip lock with silica stored in box in closet is supper icy!!
Any shoe that is over 10 years old runs the risk of having the sole seperate. My friend had a DS pair of Olive 9's and like a idiot wore them in the house for fun on carpet. Needless to say he ended up with 1 and a half shoes. Moral of the story wear on your own risk.

Those 3's look real good for the age. Just remember though looks can be deceiving. Wear the shoes very lightly. Maybe even buy a re-retro and keep them for display purposes.
Basic understanding of shoes is that the more you wear them, the more they are going to deteriorate. Heel drag is just the heel wearing thinner. Ultimately once the shoes have been completely worn out, the heel or sole will break and seperate from the midsole.
