The only one I didn't give up on was the GOF pack last year. Bit the bullet and paid just over retail for the pack, then sold out the XX9.

True. I've only purchased one used pair, but mostly because I move on if I miss a release. 

That's unusual. I always get mine sent out the Monday after the release and get them the next day since they're just a few hours away.

Still hope that doesn't happen. I have one in driving distance and they are to small to ever get anything. Bots might "ruin" online releases, but at lease those who aren't near a big city have a shot.
