I dont remember seeing a lot of fake BTs out there, much less GS ones... but you can never be too careful. Post pics of the soles, and maybe others will chime in as well.
I saw your post in the Black Toe thread and thought it'd be better to reply here.
My Eastbay pair has the same " A China| En Chine" combination as the tag you have pictured.
Judging from the other Royal LCs these don't pass.
- widows peaks on the toe boxes and on the heel
- lines on the soles are not defined like the authentic pairs
- font on the box tag looks wrong IMO
- wings on the side look small
Check with iSniker or TimmyBrix just in case, but I don't think...
They're legit. I pre-ordered Shadow 1s from them. Noticeable quality difference when comparing to retail store product though. I'm sure others that purchased Shadows from them can validate that. Wait it out like the others said, I'm sure you'll be able to snag a nice release day pair.
I'm pretty sure they're fake. The tag is wrong. Looks like the person taking the pics went out of their way to a avoid a netting or side shot. "Air Jordan" label on the tongue is too low as well.
I saw a kid wearing WC 88's today and it reminded me of a story for this thread.
I was 13 in the summer of '94, and one day I was just flipping through channels when I came across a shot of White/Cement IIIs on TV.
They were actually for sale on none other than the, "Home Shopping Network" or...
Not sure what you mean bro.
I was referring to the UPC on the size tag of the tongue which I was trying to compare with mine.
Either way, this thread is old. I'm sure he's purchased them by now, and is probably wearing them as we speak...
The shoe trees are the same shoe trees from my Finishline restock pair. The only differences I see in this shoe compared to mine is that the side netting on your right shoe(pinky toe side) looks larger than mine and I wear an 11. Also, the deadstock lacing on my pair, and all of my 4's for...
I'm 34 and work from home, so it's hard to have the same type of rotation that I had when I was younger. I thought I was done back in '06, but over the last 3-4 years there's been a lot of releases that I've had a hard time passing on. Especially since I now have the financial means to...
They're fake. Everything that Firepower said. Additionally, the font on the tag is wrong, the production date is wrong, and the lace arm stitching is awful. Trade him actual Oreo cookies, but not your 6's.
The date is in the upper left hand corner, "990103." It's either jan 1st or march 1st of 99. Don't remember off the top of my head. Either way, shoe is legit.
From what I can see, they look legit.
Decent quality also, considering.
Ask for a pic of the shoe from the side to check for the "heel bump" just to make sure.
Regardless, I still think they are legit.
The tag matches mine:
I think you may be out of luck.
It's hard enough getting GR pairs in LA, let alone "somewhat" limited ones.
The best advice I can give you is to check, "smaller," less popular malls that have a Footaction. (e.g. Stonewood, Montebello, etc.)
I was able to pick up a sz 12 from Stonewood Center...
