    Sunny, my dude! I've actually even tried chocolate syrup and soy sauce on the white leather of my balenciaga arenas. I don't know if I'm brave enough to try that on suede, or directly on white shoe laces... but I haven't tried anything other than liquid-type spills though.

    You're absolutely right. Suede is definitely a rugged material. However, that doesn't mean it's unaffected by staining. If a $16 bottle, that protects more than five pairs of shoes, will protect my $1,000 suede boots from staining, it's a no brainer for me.

    The spray has no effect on the suede at all, as long as you get the boot & shoe version! Just remember, whenever suede gets wet at all, after the liquid dries, the spot that got wet will look stiff/dry. Once you give it a good brushing, it goes right back to it's nice nappy texture.

    I've never actually spray the soles. I figured the coating would get roughed up once I started wearing the shoes, but I could be completely wrong by that. And I think you're right. I've read it too where you have to re-apply every so often, but I haven't completely tested that yet. I'll try it...
