GOAT + StockX selling fakes always gets brought up, but I agree, feels like an urban legend. Having sold + purchased from both, never experienced any issues or witnessed someone actually receiving fakes.

Picked up a pair of the home '96-'97 shorts as well. I don't think you could go wrong with either colorway, but the gold for me is symbolic Lakers.

I picked my pair up on Saturday afternoon from adidas. The guy helping me said that they had a line when the store opened at 10a, and was surprised that they hadn't sold out by the time I got there. Local boutiques I called also got them, so supply might have just been high on these.
