I get that. But it's NC Central.
Agreed. I HIGHLY doubt he'd take it. Worth a call though.
Think Capel, Sampson and Davis would be really good hires though.
Few notes from last night:
+ Kevin Ollie gonna need to escape to the NBA if this keeps up.
+ Indiana...wut? 15 TOs, 29% from 3 will do that to you. Weird.
+ KU bigs are struuuuugling. Hopefully it's just fatigue from playing four games in seven days? I dunno. Bragg and Lucas looked terrible...
I think not having a true PG hurts them. Shaka always tries to get away with just having a handful of combo guards. They had a total of seven assists against NW...not going to get it done.
JJ looked really good tonight.
Starting to become worried with KUs bigs...Landon Lucas just doesn't look right out there.
...and, regarding the posts above...I hate Malik Newman's game too. I have since I saw him play for the first time like three years ago. (In a game against Josh Jackson...
Was 4-2 at one point...
...now 4-6...
I own AJ, Prosise and Gio...yesterday was rough.
Need Lamar Miller and CJ to outscore Cooper and Sebastian by 9 points tonight or my season is over...
A bit late here...but...
Rock Chalk Jayhawk. Was so fun to watch them beat Texas on Saturday. So happy for Coach Beaty.
Also...
UT should hire Les Miles, not Herman.
Who has the scoop on this Preston cat other than what has been said?
From my eyes...6'9, smooth, not super explosive but athletic. Fine shooter, little to no post game, good handle...what else?
I hear you, just bothersome to me that people are acting like Duke wins this game no matter what if they have their three guys and that KU played a "great game" and only won by two.
Last night? Yes, I agree.
However, when saying "well, what if Duke was healthy?" I think you have to consider two things: "what if Josh Jackson wasn't in foul trouble?" and "what if KU wasn't absolutely awful from 3 and from the line?"
Agreed that Duke would have played much much better with their 3 frosh...but let's not act like KU played their best game either.
11% from 3 and 47% from the line? Yikes.
Yooooooo. What a game, man. KU almost throwing that one away
A few thoughts—
+ Josh Jackson looked good once he finally got into a rhythm. Foul trouble obviously hurt him, as it did everyone else.
+ Udoka's energy off the bench was great. Dude is so raw but Joel Embiid looked super raw in...
You guys picking KU tonight? Ehh...
KU is going to really have to improve their rebounding they showed against Indiana. It was a major issue. That and transition defense...if Kennard and Allen get open looks in transition, it won't be good for KU.
However, I watched some Grand Canyon v. Duke...
