I don't understand how anyone can call Django boring. Long, yes, boring, absolutely not. There was not a dull scene in the movie.

One of the most visceral performances I've ever seen. Really made you feel the role.

Argo was a perfect "good" movie to me, if that makes sense. Nothing spectacular, nothing experimental or particularly exciting, not taking any risks,  just a good movie done extremely well. Would much rather have seen Django win.

Forgot how good Phoenix was in The Master, his performance was so uncomfortable to watch that it almost made me enjoy it less. Need to watch that movie again.
