I use Box Bros here locally in Lomita...they sell them maybe lil more than $2.00 or so!  I also use a 15x9.5x6 from these for smaller sizes.

I find a 16x12x6 box was perfect for most shoes Ive shipped. If needed, minimal bubble wrap on some of the smaller boxes but not much! But the M Frz who use a DAMN Mircowave box to ship our ish!!??  

Ive only had em cancel me once, the 2/17 MJ Bday AJ5 Fire Red release...really didnt care all that much either! hA

Yeah i seen that after the fact.... For those wondering I got em roughly 2 hrs after release drop on NDC n got shipping confirmation by midday Sat, sux how some have had to wait this long!
