That diamondcity guy had some stuff that looked pretty decent that was way cheaper than everyone else.  Shame it seems like he doesn't have much inventory.

It would be bad even if it was a good investment.  Imagine someone being able to just take your 401k by lifting it off your neck.  Only people i'd let rob my savings is the government.

What I'm most curious about in the jewelry game is why jewelers are so secretive about their prices.  Jewelry is basically the only product where there is not full transparency on price.  This makes it really bad for consumers.  Jewelry is one of the few things its easy to get ****** on.  Every...

I see, you can out source that work right?  You probably wont make as much money and can't control quality but it can lower your start up costs.

You would know much better than me obviously.  But I would think the tools and machines would not be that expensive relatively.  Less than 50k, and you have the benefit of most of your inventory being relatively fungible with cash.  I think the biggest risk/cost would be getting a store front...

Bar to entry seems pretty low.  Especially if your going the LAX route and slanging on NT and IG.  Can't cost more than a few grand to buy some gold and and make a few chains especially if your doing the labor yourself.

Ebay Here is another one that is similar but cheaper: http://www.ebay.com/itm/271527941260?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Setting looks bad, stones too far apart.  But it might be worth it to buy it for the stones and have it reset in a similar manner

Thinking about buying this. 3.00 ct vs1/2 g/h 14k gold approx $2500 My question is how hard would it be to change the bale.  I dont like how there is a hole through the middle, id prefer the standard solid bale.  Is this something any jeweler can fix?  What are your thoughts on the piece.

I remember them being right around 10k for the longest time, like $9800 to 11k for the plain 3.25 ct stainless steal one.  A fully iced out  one was like 100k at its prime, bout 30-32k after
