    Yes, point is currencies are not that volatile.  The US dollar is still the most stable value holder available.

    I bought one of those 2, but then i was like WTF am i doing and returned it.  I bought an aquamaster a while later that is surprisingly dope for a an aquamaster.  Its the 8ct big bezel one.  I never wear it anymore though.  Do you guys know if its a good idea to ask a jeweler to pop the diamonds...

    Greece one country that is totally ******.  That will never happen to the United States in the foreseeable future.  Monetary system failures are not very common.

    How is it safe? Gold has dropped in 32% since 2013.  The S&P 500 index has gonna up by 40% in the same time period. Gold is great as jewelry, bad as investment.

    Most gold is not used for anything except as a storage of value.  It doesn't grow or generate income without being consumed.

    Gold is typically used as a hedge against inflation.  So if you think currencies (mainly the dollar) are going to be stable, gold doesn't have much value.  But if you think inflation/interest rates are going to be high, gold is usually a good bet.   IMO gold is a bad investment.  Its just a...

    In a vaccum, something like what is happening to greece would send gold soaring.  Something else is at play, some hedge funds are shorting the **** out of gold.

    ive gotten quotes from 4k to what i paid for it. Just be aggressive n your negotiating and have a firm price in mind.  Diamond quality will affect the price too.  Hard to tell when your getting a good deal.  But the profit margin on jewelry is so high, the seller will usually budge a lot...
