Def waiting for the Frasers to drop.  But like a few of you the rwb's are growing on me.  I havent seen them in person, but I imagine the nike stock photo isnt accurate when considering how off the nike stock photos were for the Daring Red and Persian Violets.  Is the darker red as dark as the pics?

Agreed.  I didnt see a picture online that was close to the actual color of the purple. IMO theres no blue tint.  Its a pastel purple.  Very feminine.  Sent mine back as well.  The daring reds are similar, couldnt find a picture online and thats just not a dudes red.  Its like a coral pink.  

The Persian Violets are a much more subdued, traditional purple that the pictures online. I tried to take a few pics, held the phone next to them and its not even close.  Its the hardest color Ive ever seen to photograph.  I dont see much of a blue tint to them.  Best way I can describe it is...

Def not a new colorway.  The only options here are knockoffs or early production runs for testing.  The flex grooves are missing from the sole.  They just look off.

I wear a 9 in metcons and 9.5 in free tr v6. Frees always fit snug so this is to be expected I guess. The metcons have a wider toe box, v6 more narrow throughout. I think there's about a 3 oz diff between them. The v6 def feels like it. There's not much to the v6 so I'd worry about using them...

The Nike Fly 1.0 shorts were perfect.  I still wear the 2.0 but I have to flip the waistband on the 2.0 because they feel about an inch longer.  Probably have 20 pairs. Lately Ive really been liking the Redline  gear shorts.  They are pricey but def durable and functional.

I can make a case for both in crossfit.  I did a workout with pull ups/double unders/hspu and ghd and felt the v6s were perfect for that workout.  If the workout has a barbell (squats, cj, snatch, etc), the metcons are going to be better.  Rope climbs, obviously metcon.  The metcons are heavier...

They fit true to nike sizing. Not including the free line, totally a different beast. But they also loosen up more than any shoe I've worn in the past 15 years. I assume the more heavy duty materials just need a bit to break in.
