Nothing too crazy, just that instead of me drilling holes into my stock manifold for MPI, I can just switch with a euro manifold as they’re MPI from the factory overseas.
Open diff life lol I’ll only be digging on the track with an actual slick setup. There’s Mk7’s GTIs doing low 11’s and a few high 10’s with no problem to the axles (simple poly dog bone mount insert)
Torque will be around 420 and i won’t need more than that. I’m at 400 wtq right now. Clutch packs handle up to ~450 wtq before they start slipping. As long as you have a TCU tune you’re straight.
I’m looking to get 450 whp, tuner said 460-480 whp is definitely doable. 500 whp is around the limit for a V1 journal bearing. V2 Triple ball bearings are rated up to 600 whp.
They’re going for around 50k used. With around 20k down and a solid rate/loan, I can see around 510-570 being a monthly payment. Way more than my limit of 400 for a car but it’s definitely doable. Insurance wouldn’t be bad either. This is long term ahead.
