Had our hybrid graduation last night. So I had to bust out a suit. The tropics have killed most of my dress shoes, so now I just stick with the tried and true (and on brand, for me) Js.

Only reason I’m going for them is that they’re school/house colors - gotta look fresh for the kids. I’d rather have the SBB 2 lows coming out, but those will be impossible unless they’re a heavy GR.

I got it here local (I live overseas) so I can’t help you with finding it in the US.

I bought it as a separate item. It’s a heel piece, sold by size, with adhesive backing,. You prep the rubber, then place the heel piece on, then use rubber cement/super glue around the edges to water seal it. Easier than a sole swap. 🤷🏻

So I finally wore my Chicago lows down to the white meat. So I applied these monstrosities to get some more miles out of them. I’ll let y’all know how they hold up. Right now I hate them as I can feel the heel lift.

Those carpets are dope,. And the story on them is cool as hell. Two Muslim (literal) brothers (who are now both engineers - one at NASA), children of immigrants, and also local skaters, get their own shoe? That’s America to me.

It was discussed fairly well in here awhile back. I use insolegeek.com to buy knock-off SB insoles. I also have thicker insoles from a local brand, and can squeeze react insoles from Bruin reacts as well. Some people use those lunarlon insoles from converse all-stars as well. Insolegeek.com...
