did anyone here try preordering the puma balotellis? i'm not sure him leaving nike and possibly/probably leaving milan shortly is helping out his image in terms of stability before the world cup.
happy new year!

thanks to all who contributed for another great year. i remember starting the thread a few years back and almost doubting that anyone would...
here's a pic....
looks like it will probably do a lot of weird stuff. i think nike match balls play more true than adidas, but adidas nailed it with the tango 12. unfortunately it looks like the brazuca is back to the balloon-like flight adidas has become known for since the fevernova.
i'm always puzzled by how players choose between going long sleeved with an actual LS jersey, or by wearing a LS baselayer under a short sleeve jersey.
for me, LS jersey all the way. i think it looks much cleaner.
i'm not even a big arsenal supporter but i bought the LS ozil home shirt just because of this. i got PL numbering.... kinda regretting i didn't get UCL.
at that age any sneaker will work just fine. i would definitely avoid traditional cleats and i don't think a turf outsole will do anything for a kid that young because i'm not sure they can generate enough power or cut hard enough to slip - even if they do, i think i'd rather have them slip a...
hahah that makes 3 of us in the exact same boat when it comes to sizing.... the longer length shorts that nike had about 2 years ago were torture to wear if you bought a small. could not do groin stretches in those because of how tight they were. ripped a pair of england shorts the first day i...
if you're worried about blisters or cuts on your achilles, just wear double socks.... i'm sure it's a personal preference type of thing, but i can't glorify the benefits of double socks enough.
i hope that we'll be able to buy the dutch gear without the ING logo as has been the case in the past, but i don't have high hopes for that. i think there's a weird FIFA rule that countries can train in gear that has ads on it for the world cup, but only if they don't have a match within 24...
now that belgium has qualified for brasil, you would think that nike/adidas/puma would buy out burrda's kit sponsorship, right? 2013-14 is the last year of the burrda deal. kompany, lukaku, fellani, vertonghen, vermaelen, de bruyne, mirallas, benteke and of course hazard.... potentially januzaj...
i'll try to hit up a the local marshalls this week. i doubt they'll have anything (CT and RI), but if they do i'll just buy everything and post on here (and the buy/sell/trade forum to keep it within the rules) for you guys.
judging from what i've been seeing on ebay in the past month (and what...
