Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying.  I actually offered him a choice of a lot of different shoes including several other Jordan 1s.  He wanted the Superflys for some reason, who was I to discourage him?  He even thanked me cause the Superflys were in mint DS condition. lol

FINALLY got myself a pair of the Shattered Backboards!  Believe it or not, I traded a DS pair of Slamdunk Superfly 3s plus $170 cash for a DS pair of the Backboards.  Kid just wanted the money he paid for the Backboards back and a free pair of shoes on top.  I gave him a list of a bunch of shoes...

Do you guys think Chicagos are equal in value to the SBBs?  I don't have either right now but a guy I know with SBBs in my size said he'd trade for a pair of Chicagos if I can get them.

Tell me about it man...I was literally at the front of the line on Sunday morning waiting to get my ticket.  I know some people who got calls for more than 1 pair.  

The sense of entitlement comes from the suggestion that you deserve something more than someone else.  If you've helped out others over the years, more power to you.  But like you said, no one owes you anything. I've helped out tons of people myself and ooped hyped/limited releases.  I have yet...

No offense Zyzz, but if I had an extra pair to help someone else out, it would much sooner be to some "random" who would likely be more grateful and appreciative of the gesture than someone who felt entitled because of their post count.

Damn, if people are getting calls cancelling their 10.5 confirmations, I know I'm definitely not getting a call for the 10.5 I put in for.

Figures..everyone I know who got calls went later in the afternoon.  I was one of the first in line in the morning and my one and only ticket probably got buried by all the rest.
