Well, 40 minutes in line after getting in right at release time. Finally went through. I'm guessing the "release trickle" was even slower on these. I'm also guessing production numbers are way lower on these than Legend Blue 11's. Just speculation and gut feeling.
SNKRS app gets me "through" sometimes to tell me all sizes are currently reserved and asks if I want them to automatically complete the purchase if size becomes available...then a connection error comes while it's waiting.
Believe it or not, smartest thing I've ever done. They're super helpful with the family, good company, and just nice to have around. Good schools, family get togethers are a breeze, etc... Don't get me wrong, we have plenty of Everybody Loves Raymond moments, but good overall...for now.
My Hanon pair just came. Literally had to run across the street barefoot in 25 degree weather because I was at my parent's and saw the postman out the window. Can't wait to crack the box and see how they look.
It's been covered a couple times. They are shipping out on the 29th. They are basically running bare bones for the holiday (pretty standard in the UK). Nothing to worry about if they haven't sent you a cancellation (which some have received).
Right on, man. This is pretty much my story exactly.
Only differences:
-5 years younger
-had a couple of pairs of Jordans before Columbias in 96
-grew up in Chicago
I was having some account issues with them so I called them up and they told me my order was fine and might be shipping out after Christmas still...which I'm ok with. Don't expect quick delivery from the UK ever.
Why do I feel like this used to happen quite a bit back in my day when I walked barefoot uphill to school? But seriously, I vaguely remember some places doing it that way. I think it stopped out of "can't please everyone."
I could be totally out of my mind too...
Opened a pair from NDC. Nothing on the outer box indicating what was inside.
Tell you what, these are nice but nowhere near as nice as the originals were. The OG's were just so perfect, and these seem more mass produced.
Hodgkins....where packages go to die.
Chicago area? I love the whole Hodgkins concept. Not even a real place. The whole "deal" is actually pretty interesting...and frustrating.
