Got this recently too.  Not gonna lie, I'm sort of in love with it 

The fact that Memphis is the smallest market in the NBA could play a part in it too.  They might try and get more use out of them because they don't think people will pay too much for the jerseys for the lesser known players.  Just a theory though.
