Two shops dropped atmos FCFS. Both on Instagram. Both updated to "sold out" in about 8 minutes.
Left my jetpack in the future, so guess I'm **** outta luck from here on out.
I appreciate that this man has recognized his mistakes and is actively taking steps to kill the dunk hype he force-created. This is corporate trash, homie. You a real one.
That's pretty interesting actually. It's also probably why Nike seems to be going after WL for Trademark infringement. The patent on dunks is up, but he made the mistake of referring to them as "dunks" even if the shoe isn't branded as such. And "dunk" is trademarked. That jason swoosh, while...
****, I meant to type *now owned by I.T.
But while the Hong Kong layer puts up more hurdles now, I wonder if the fact that Nigo was doing this all out of Japan (regardless of worldwide spread) played a factor in why Nike decided to embrace it instead of pursue it.
I'm sure there's more to it than just this, but Bathing Ape is a Japanese brand, owned by I.T. which is a Hong Kong investment company.
In comparison,, Lotas was set up and registered as an LLC right here in the U.S. (the dumbest **** he could've done)
There's a reason fakes aren't made in...
"Nike is suing the Los Angeles streetwear brand Warren Lotas over the alleged production and sale of fake Nike Dunk sneakers, according to court papers obtained Thursday."
Guess that settles that debate.
It's weird, but not the first time it's happened. I remember something similar happened with the slate blue dunks back in 2014. Some had a straight gum bottom, and some had a speckled gum bottom.
Two of the shops around here have been pulling that. They've been getting the bruins and blazers and everything else. But apparently the dunk truck got lost en route after safaris. Other shops in the area don't seem to have that problem though. So somebody lying.
I think a lot of people, yourself included, are confusing "replica" with "fake." A replica tries to imitate an original. A fake tries to be something it's not.
WL dunks are to dunks what Rodex watches are to Rolex. Fake.
Hit on Premier for the first time since the jade lows.
Quality is decent on these. Leather is pretty soft. They come with white and yellow spare laces, but the yellow is more of a mustard color so I'm sticking with blue.
Some people pay resale, some people buy reps, some people save money and ***** until their next L. I'm in that third group. And I'm slowly remembering why I fell out of love with sneakers on my last go around.
My girl got the EA. Told me "I know you don't wear the high ones, so I didn't waste your money."
She's not wrong. I'll let her think she did the right thing.
