I’m in the same boat, tomorrow will be the last time I try for Jordan’s on release day. Used to be possible to grind out manual Ws, but now it’s all luck and 85% of the competition is greedy resellers who only want a pair to sell to you. Footsites suck, Shopify sucks, most raffles are bottled...
I took a break for most of January and early Feb, and it was nice to not start the weekend with immediate disappointment. After the inevitable L on the 1s next week, I'll probably be done for the unforeseeable future.
I really think Nike and these shoe stores are going to pop the sneaker...
Gotten through multiple times in the past 45 mins and every time it's "We are Sorry, It looks like something went wrong" when you try to do anything. Then eventually back to queue.
Edit: Just got through again:
I got through both JD and FNL queues on mobile around 10:15 and 9.5 and 10 were already OOS, none of my other 30 windows on desktop made it past queue yet.
I’m at point where if I don’t hit on a pair of these today, I’m just going to delete all the sneaker apps off my phone and start selling off my collection. SNKRs gives me nothing but Ls now, and can't rely on any of the sites or raffles anymore. What's the point anymore?
I'm honestly so sick and tired of all of this. What a complete waste of time, there really isn't a shot at grinding out a manual W anymore - it's all luck, and the odds get worse week after week.
First attempt at something in a few weeks, got through on JD and FNL within 10 mins and the Coasts were already sold out, 6 Ls on SNKRs, Ls everywhere else, still in queue on FTL and Champs 35 mins later.
Had to fight an urge to not even try for these today, and now I remember why. Being a...
Something went wrong. Something went wrong. Something went wrong.
Ok, I guess Nike doesn't even want to give me the option to try for their products anymore, so that's legitimately it for me.
I agree, people should stop using multiple accounts so my multiple accounts have a better chance of winning.
Realistically I can't see how Nike will prevent many of their longtime customers from quitting the hobby (this is where I'm at). Why would someone continue to try when they fail over...
People are forgetting that there are a ton of folks right now who are stuck at home with nothing to do, including those in grade school and college. They see something being mentioned constantly on Twitter and hop on StockX, and find a $100 pair of shoes is selling for $700+. So they go for an...
Came out of my brief retirement from the game for this pair, got into the queue right away, got through the queue, entered shipping, was sent right back to queue, and am still there 10 mins later.
Just keeps getting worse. Back to retirement.
Yea I'm not spending all of 2021 playing Nike's games as they keep getting worse like I did in 2020, 2019, 2018, etc. Taking today as a sign - drawing a line in the sand, deleting the apps, and calling it quits for a while. Probably spent an hour customizing and saving designs this week and 30...
Now that we're done with Nike drops until 2021, I tallied my SNKRs success in 2020. I know a few Ls are missing, but the Ws are correct. Want to give a special shout out to Nike and all the resellers/clout chasers for making this possible.
W's - 8
Ls - 56+
I still managed to hit around...
