The Official Photography Thread - Vol. 3

@bjamez20 that's a really helpful and informative comparison. thanks for sharing that, repped. i recently purchased the nikon 85 1.8 and the jump from 50 (was my longest length prior) really makes a difference and was cool to see. so much to learn and navigate within the hobby. will try to share...

thanks for the quick and responsive input, so safe to say...a general rule is that an 85 should be primarily waist and above and to avoid full body portraits? im on a d750 with a 28mm and 50mm already but the 85 1.8 is reasonably priced and has seemingly positive reviews for its price point and...

lots of debate. always good to hear different pov's. but if i could squeeze in a quick n00b question for those of you that do a lot of portraiture...is it safe to say that having an 85mm is highly preferable vs. a 50mm in most cases for portraiture stuff? i have a 28mm that im really attached to...

Hey all is there an industry standard/format for a cv/resume when applying for an opportunity? Like if you send out your work and info, is there a certain protocol or expectation in regard to the items that you’re providing? Any help appreciated, thanks.

stupid question; what happens when you clear your cache? are all your final edits reverted back to the imported .raw file prior to all the processing?

    Nike Footscape Woven Thread.

im a 9 in all the wovens but had to get a 9.5 in these after trying both the 9 & 9.5. the 9 just seemed kinda snug and i knew id be walking around in these a lot. i think you should be fine going tts...theyre shaped a little funny with the narrower toe box, almost feel egg and ovate shaped on...

damn @astronout those obama pics speak volumes. good stuff. my political iq and engagement is admittedly underdeveloped and ill-informed but with all that's happening and going on i think those first two of the former potus say a lot. great dialogue about focal length, bokeh and dof several...

    Nike Footscape Woven Thread.

acquired the desert colorway. been a busy few months for the footscape. got both rainbow 2.0's and the black nike lab's before these. didn't ride the footscape wave until about 2013 so missed out on the original sole. footscapes are comfortable and practical for me so i can't complain.

here are a couple screenshots of the tone curve shape that i normally gravitate to. that and desaturating but adding luminance to the yellows and adding some slight blue and gray to the split toning module. it's been brought up a couple of times but i can't provide any proper or formal...
