ever notice how Nike doesn't use the term retro with its Nike releases, they make a damn near perfect air max 90 and others and there is no retro attached. jordans on the other hand are retros which means they are styled after ogs but not ogs... any other Nike release will get a near-perfect...

Durabuck took longer to crease up badly than leather, it took more than just a few years to crack I would say over 10 , and those new grapes did not have Durabuck since Durabuck hasn't been manufactured since the late '90s. ,

what's funny to me is, when it comes to the 3's everybody complains about the shape but the shade of the elephant print is so far off from ogs its not even funny and a way bigger difference than the shape. the darker shade of grey gives the shoe an entirely different look.

yeah and just think those boring old 3's would end up being some of the greatest sneakers in the history of sneakers.

the red was Durabuck, and I believe the white to be a mix of leather with a Durabuck heel .. if I remember correctly its been a pretty long time since I bought my pair in 91 at jc pennys lol

I dont care who you are or where you are from the 2000 retro 5's are as close to og as we will ever get. especially because of the actual Durabuck used.

When it comes to ogs there was no difference, even the grade school sizes were the same in comparison to height and spacing of heal tabs, wings, and the overall cut of the shoe. every release after the og has not been as high of a cut.

They just can’t get that height right to save their lives. If they can just correct the height the battle would be more than half won
