Agreed. I think it's because no matter what Nike says about Flywire, having a single layer of it as an upper is still not enough to keep the foot in place during basketball. The original Hyperdunk had the synthetic leather overlay along the forefoot, which helped make the upper a bit more sturdy.

I'm surprised Crawford and Sabathia aren't in violation of uniform regulations for wearing mostly gray cleats. I know the NFL and NBA are pretty specific about the colors that one's cleats can and can't be.

Looking at the giant bumps on their chest it appears Nike might be designing their own electronic player monitoring device. Rooney's sports bra type top over the long sleeve shirt is puzzling though...
Also, has anyone else noticed that the ManU players have been allowed to wear bladed...

New adidas boot going through its testing stages. Adidas has confirmed it is a new silo, and the safe bet is that it's going to be a competitor to Nike's CTR360 silo. It was being tested by Ballack not long ago.

I agree but the MLS probably would rather have the flag covered than their logo.
Also, the cleats appear to be a miAdidas creation. The blue center stud/Powerspine and yellow blades on the white soleplate are unique to miAdidas adiPowers. Although they certainly allowed Beckham more text...
