Historically price hasn't really ever gone down on an OG colored one. Only increases with time.

Maybe quality control on royals is lower than on Breds, but it's the same materials used on both. If you got a pair of royals that didn't have qc issues, it's the same pair as Breds, just different color.

That's a good point. I wonder how many more bred and royals they made than black toes. Black toe materials are far superior. Same with Chicagos.

I think you're referencing the "toe panel," that's crazy... one pair has the same black as the Breds and royals by the looks of it. It's bloody baffling that they use that low grade stuff on two of the most historic pairs, when nearly every other remastered pair has the soft toe panel. Would...

Broke out the 85's to go pick up my girls 7Y. Wish we had it as easy as the ladies to cop these. Way cheaper, option to double or triple up at retail, and it's crazy that the royals have the exact same materials as the men's.

Must have got an off pair of the All Stars, because mine are quite soft, and have read pretty much everyone else say the same. The black parts are better than the black parts on the 2016 bred, and the hornet coloured parts are nothing like Melo's at all.

For those that have these in hand already, is the black leather the same stiff crap that's on the 2016 banned, or is it plush like on the black toes?
