Damn that's messed up, 30+ years no promotion or anything. I would have quit after the third year. A lot of people on here are saying the same thing about not moving up even with years of experience, so I guess there has to be some truth to that. I definitely don't plan on staying at footlocker...
Thanks for the advice man I really appreciate it. I been working there for 4 days now and I haven't even sold a single sneaker or t-shirts etc.. being that its a new store we are still stocking merchandise, I mean we're not even open for business yet. we will be Thursday hopefully if everything...
Damn that's doesn't sound like a good experience man. Maybe you and your friend weren't good employees because there's a lot of innovation with footlocker if you can prove yourself. I mean that's with any job. They may not have recognized you for your hard work but your friend working there 10...
I definitely won't be lazy, haha but right now I'm just starting out so once I get the flow of things I'm definitely going to strive for those higher position, and with it being a new store there's a lot opportunity for advancement. Thanks for the advice homie.
What's up NT'ers, I've decided to start this thread on the behalf of Footlocker employees in hopes it will give me more of an understanding on the footlocker work atmosphere and overall experience. Recently I was hired at my local footlocker in the mall. It's a brand new store and a whole new...
What's up NT'ers so I got some good news and bad news. The bad news is the swoosh once again have turned down ya boy for employment but I must say I really don't understand why this time, I mean I did my best in those interviews and follow up's, have a clean background and all but in the end...
Yo!! just got back from my interview for full time apparel at Nike. Must say I'm impressed with the way I slayed those questions. It was a group interview and 2 managers just like the last time I was interviewed. questions were the same so I already knew what to expect. cool management , so now...
What's up NT'ers! Got some good news today from the Nike Factory Store at my local mall. If you guys have been following this thread you know that a few weeks ago I was broken hearted about not landing the position at a different Nike store due to ( I just found this out ) the manager put...
Thanks but I'm more interested in the retail department. Besides I don't have the desire to be a designer for Nike. I just want to help them dominate in sales and customer service..unfortunately they didn't see that In me..it's not over yet though I should be receiving a call from my local mall...
Nah..I'm trying to stay away from that street life but man. I was so damn sure I scored that position. Like during the interview compared to who was in my group I blew them out the gates with my answers, everything was smooth man then they hit me with that email letting me down and sh*t even...
Damn...I didn't make the cut unfortunately. All that "If you receive a background verification email, you're pretty much hired." Is *******t. I got that email and I have a clean record. Got my hope up for nothing...
Thanks and yeah I called a few times but I always seem to call at the wrong time cause the hiring manager is either not in or he's on break. I'm 80% sure I got the job but the other 20% is the lack of actually being notified I scored the position.
Still no call back from Nike. It's been a week now since the interview and background check..slowly losing hope..any advice or assumption on what the delay is all about?
Had a phone interview then a group interview this past Monday, and after the interview three hours later got an email for background verification. I have no criminal background and haven't heard back yet. what do you guys think? am I going to get the job? also I'm being interviewed at another...
