If memory serves, WearTesters has said the it is not only the OG molds but the actual OG materials (glues and stuff like that) that are no longer allowed to bu used. I'm going by memory, don't quote me.

Usually 10.5-11 (2008-2012 run and 2015 to today run) but for whatever reason that 2017 Royal ran extra small to me.

For the record, I actually settled on a 10.5 for the 2024 Royals. As for the coppers:

I hear you, separation on my 2008-2012 Foam era is an issue I'm currently facing. I have major sole separation on my Pearls and a slight one on Coppers. I'm in fear for Eggplants and Cough Drop.
