I’ve always seen it as that east coast sound was inspired by soul music/motown , real instrumentation off grainy vinyl. Whereas the west coast sound was more inspired by electronic funk, a lot of synths and effects.

I think the top one is a small size and the bottom one is a bigger size. If u line up the placement with the notches in the outsole they match up. It does look bigger at first glance tho.
