Yes sir. Retros for lifting, performance line for everything else. Just avoid anything with a ton of cushion when doing heavy squats or you'll be struggling to stay balanced. Only do legs with 1s.

XIs are the only good low top Js. They look naturally good as a low compared to almost every other retro that just looks like they took the mid/high and chopped off the top half, which I guess is kinda the point but it just takes away from the shoe in a way the XI lows don’t

Yup the previous release was a travesty. That's probably why there was such a quick turnaround time from that to this release.
