@vintageapparel  - you can try conditioning the shoes with saphir renovateur or renomat and then applying a good cream polish such as saphir or collonil. after a few polishes, it shouldn't be visible. alternatively, you can take them to a shop that does leather refinishing and have the shoes...

Out of the box your shoes should fit as snug as possible without being uncomfortable. If they are constructed from good quality leather then they should mold to your foot as you break them in. Of course, things like water will affect the shape of the leather and, consequently, the fit so be...
