Nike would be the one to contact Fedex. Fedex will tell me the recipient cannot file the claim.
I wouldn't have an issue if the box wasn't "different" since id just switch the label with a box that was the same.
The responsibility of the package 100% fall on the shipper tho...

The packaging is kind of part of the shoe or the collectors item when it’s unique.
That Nike could care less is pretty not in my opinion.
I just have a clearance store near me unfortunately. It’s not the end of the world but I’m definitely not happy about the customer service experience from them.
Just wanted to give the final update I suppose.
A bit of background for anyone that didn’t see… my order came in. Box had water damage and physical damage. I contacted Nike which referred me to .swoosh who only talk via email. .swoosh has a no refund policy even for damaged packaging.

They did reach out via email but the email was in my junk inbox so be sure to check there. There is no continuity between Nike and .swoosh or it seems like even their IG.
